Fits well and I think gives you a little better grip on the camera. I think the fit and finish are just fine and looks good on the camera. Two problems: One is using the intervalometer. It works - eventually - but the directions are incoherent and it takes awhile to figure it out. Be patient - or you can call Satechi customer service. Another problem is that it only allows you to take 99 pics. I called Satechi and they confirmed. I ended up buying the Satechi TMAM which I really like and am using to make time lapse. If you are only interested in time lapse then that's the one to get - much better and much simpler. But I'm keeping the grip. By the way, customer service from Satechi is quite good. They check to make sure you got your delivery. I called about the number of exposures on the hand grip and the guy called back twice to answer my questions.

LCD Timer Vertical Battery Grip for Nikon D80 and D90 Very good grip. Fits well, looks good. Has vertical buttons for portrait orientation. HOlds two en-el3e batteries or 6 AA, with supplied adapter. Only complaints were: the documentation was bad. (but was able to figure it out easy enough) and the digital clock doesn't keep accurate time, really bad.
